What are Veneers?

A veneer is an extremely thin shell of porcelain that bonds to the front of a tooth (enamel). At Dr. Roshan's Advanced Dental Care And Implant Center, our cosmetic dentists use veneers to change the way your teeth look correcting their shape, color, size, and symmetry.

How long do they last?

The better we take care of them, the longer they will last; with the proper home care they should last anywhere from 15 to 20 years.

Taking Care doesn’t mean that you have to restrict yourself from certain foods that you eat, such as corn on the cob or biting into an apple. A veneer should be an enhancement to your life and not a limitation.

Who is a candidate for porcelain veneers?

Veneers are ideal for people who want to improve their overall smile.

Some of the popular reasons include worn teeth, discolored teeth, crooked teeth, uneven teeth, broken /chipped teeth, or a desire to have a splendid smile.

How do I care for Porcelain veneers?

A veneer should look and feel as natural as teeth. This means you can floss, brush and eat all the foods that you love. This will make sure that your veneers will remain as shiny and new as they were on the day they were bonded in place.
